Aurora’s Gingerbread House Fundraiser is a one-day fundraising event to support the organization’s mission of creating solutions to prevent and striving to end homelessness in our community. Over 35 teams from the local area will participate by building, on-site, holiday wonderlands in the form of “Food Network-style” gingerbread houses.


Competitors range from youth, amateurs to professionals teams made up of pastry chefs and artists from culinary institutions and area bakeries, in addition to local gingerbread house enthusiasts. The public is invited to watch the culinary challenge and vote for their favorite by donating dollars and cents! Guests will also enjoy local, holiday-themed entertainment, a fabulous silent auction, delicious concessions, pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus, and a fun-filled kid’s gingerbread workshop!
