🗣 May Employee Spotlight - Katie KreagerOver the last few months, Katie has stepped up to take over as Interim Vision 1505 Team Lead and the program hasn't missed a beat. Katie started working at Aurora’s Vision 1505 in February of 2018. She quickly became devoted to the unique project and the ability to make long lasting relationships with clients as they move through stages of their lives. At Vision 1505 they have the capacity to serve 32 formerly homeless families with disabling conditions. At Vision 1505, they work where the client’s live and thus are available to provide intensive case management whenever a crisis may occur. They are also onsite to provide guidance and learning opportunities for day-to-day activities to help clients become self-sufficient. By focusing on housing as the “missing piece” to a client’s life Katie gets to see people find sobriety, healthy relationships, reunite families, graduate high school or college and so much more. In her free time she loves spending time with her family and pets outside and seeing my son learn and grow. Thank you, Katie, for all that you do!#WeAreAurora💙#Vision1505#EndHomelessness#NewLeaseOnLife#ThankYou ... See MoreSee Less

Did you know that the Indiana state recidivism rate runs around 34%? This means that once someone is let out of prison, 34% will return again. Through our Re-Entry program, which includes intensive case management and accountability from Rose and Nana, that number runs about 17% on average, which is one the best in the state. Thank you both for all you do!#WeAreAurorađź’™#ReentryMatters #ReentryWeek #secondchances ... See MoreSee Less
